Care
What to do to preserve football shirts?
Do not use washing machines or dryers
Using washing machines, dryers or dry cleaning can damage your shirt. Football shirts are delicate items and can be damaged when washed in any way. For example, washing them in any of the above ways can cause them to lose their color.
Do not use bleach, fabric softener or washing powder.
These products are not recommended because team shirts have details that can be lost with the use of these products. In addition, the shirts may stain or fade depending on the product.
Avoid storing shirts folded
When storing shirts folded, you run the risk of ruining some details such as numbers, names or sponsorships.
Do not soak for too long
Soaking your shirt for too long can cause it to fade. In addition, leaving your shirt to soak can weaken the fabric and make it more prone to tearing.
Do not use an iron (except steam iron)
Ironing can, at the very least, burn the garment, depending on the type of fabric. It can also erase details on the shirt. In addition, it can melt numbers, names or sponsorships, for example.
How to wash your football shirt
To wash your team shirts, you should opt for manual washing. Wash the shirts by hand. You can also soak them for a few minutes if necessary. As explained above, do not use any type of bleach or washing powder. For washing, it is recommended to use neutral detergent.
Immediately after washing, let the shirt dry in the shade. The sun can damage your shirt. Finally, store your shirt on hangers. Also, store it in a ventilated place to avoid odors and mold.
